“Poland starts receiving Corona patients from the Czech Republic and Slovakia”.
Polish Prime Minister Matthews Murawiecki announced his government’s readiness to provide medical services to patients from the Czech Republic and Slovakia in its temporary hospitals in the south.
“The prime minister of the Czech Republic says he no longer has free beds, so I offered him help in southern Poland,” Morawiecki said. We can offer such assistance to our Czech and Slovak neighbors in Wroclaw, Opole, Katowice, Krakow, and Rzeszow.
According to him, the epidemiological situation in the neighboring Czech Republic and Slovakia is “two to three times worse than in Poland.”

As reported, 39 temporary hospitals have been set up in Poland to receive COVID patients. Of these, 17 are already operational and 22 are ready for full deployment. In total, there are now more than 26,000 beds for COVID patients in the country, of which about 45% are employed.
