The plane with more than 200 passengers made an emergency landing in the United States after a sudden engine failure.
According to a statement by the operator, Flight 328 from Denver to Honolulu suffered an engine failure shortly after take-off. The plane returned safely to Denver and was received by rescuers as a precaution, ”the airline said in a statement on Twitter.
United Airlines added that no one was injured in the accident.
The wreckage of the airframe was found in several areas around Denver. Eyewitnesses reported a strong explosion.
