The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, there are already 1.357 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19, a daily increase, on March 1 – 5.3 thousand, which is more than the day before. The highest number of cases per day was registered in the Ivano-Frankivsk region – 649.

“5,336 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of March 2, 2021,” Stepanov said.
In particular, 308 children and 218 health workers fell ill.
In addition, 1,410 people were hospitalized during the day; 583 people were discharged from hospitals; 162 fatal cases were recorded; 5,194 people recovered. In addition, 54,994 tests were performed per day (including 27,407 by PCR and 14,483 by ELISA); studies by rapid tests for the antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 13 104.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
sick – 1,357,470 people;
recovered – 1,176,918 people;
fatalities – 26,212;
PCR tests were performed – 6,948,980.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk (649), Chernivtsi (504) Vinnytsia (453), Zakarpattia (438) oblasts, and in Kyiv (463).
