In the near future, Xiaomi will release at least five smartphones for Ukraine. This was reported on Twitter by the Xiaomi Firmware Updater project.
Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – March 06, 2021 – Technology
The authors of the account stated that the disclosed data from the MIUI firmware indicate that the Chinese company is preparing several smartphones for some markets. Under its own brand, Xiaomi will release a simplified version of the flagship Mi 11 released in late 2020, which will be called the Mi 11 Lite. The new device will come in two versions – with support for 4G and 5G.
Subsidiary Xiaomi Redmi, which introduced the K40 series smartphones in late February, will not release them on the global market. However, devices with exactly the same characteristics debut in a number of regions under the Poco brand. Thus, Redmi K40, K40 Pro, and K40 Pro + will appear in Ukraine under the names Poco X3, X3 Pro, and X3 Pro + respectively.
Thus Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is not presented yet. It will probably get a 6.67-inch screen, a Snapdragon 732G chip, a triple camera, a large battery, Android 11 with a pre-installed MIUI 12 shell.
The exact release dates of the devices are not disclosed. Xiaomi has not commented on the leak of information about new devices.
