The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, 1.41 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded, the daily increase on March 8 – 3.2 thousand, the traditional decrease in the number of cases on weekends. At the same time, the number of hospitalized per day is over 1.8 thousand.

“3261 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of March 9, 2021,” Stepanov said.
Also for the past 24hrs, 1837 people were hospitalized, 975 recovered, 76 deaths were registered, 13101 PCR tests were performed per day.
During the whole time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 141,061 people became ill, 11,992,229 recovered, 27,204 deaths were registered, and 715,442 PCR tests were performed. 210,832 patients remain active patients.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Vinnytsia (460), Ivano-Frankivsk (433), Chernivtsi (409), and Lviv (351) oblasts, and the city of Kyiv (201).
The other day in Ukraine expanded “red” quarantine zone – now there Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Odessa, and Zakarpatye areas.
