In protest against the poor living conditions and the high exchange rate of the dollar against the national currency, protesters in Lebanon continue to block roads in various regions.

A number of entrances to the capital, Beirut, were cut off this morning, while some were opened at a later time.
Yesterday, Monday, in Lebanon, roads were cut off in various regions, after calls by many activists to take to the streets in “Monday of anger”, as Lebanon witnessed widespread protests over the previous days, and protesters closed roads with burning tires and trucks.
On the other hand, the Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, held yesterday an economic, financial, security, and judicial meeting, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, and a number of ministers and officials, leaders of the security services, and the governor of the Banque du Liban, to discuss the latest situation and find solutions to it.
The popular protests began last Tuesday after the dollar exchange rate reached the threshold of ten thousand Lebanese pounds, a very low and unprecedented level.
While the official price of the dollar is still 1510 pounds, and the subsidized dollar is 3,900 pounds.
