Apple is again looking for a specialist in Ukraine. Now the manufacturer is looking for an indirect tax analyst (Indirect Tax Analyst) for the Kiev office.

A fresh vacancy has already been posted on Apple’s official website in the job section. Indirect taxes are price increases, such as VAT.
Requirements:
As stated in the job description, companies are looking for a specialist who meets the following requirements:
has exceptional analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills;
attentive to details;
is able to adhere to strict deadlines.
The advantage will be experienced in financial and accounting activities, knowledge of Excel systems, SAP / other ERP-systems, experience in project management. The candidate is also required to be fluent in English and Ukrainian.
This specialist in Ukraine will be engaged in the preparation and submission of declarations on indirect taxes to state bodies, communication with them.
In the spring of 2020 Apple registered a legal entity in Ukraine. In the summer of the same year, a vacancy for Chief Accountant was opened for the Kyiv office.
Recently in the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading supported the project on the VAT for providers of electronic services-nonresidents (this list includes Apple services). Probably a factor as to why they’re doing so poorly.
