Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – March 13, 2021 – Diplomatic Affairs
The announcement was made on Facebook by Emin Jabarova, Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The presentation, entitled “Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2.0: Strengthening the Voice of Ukraine in Difficult Circumstances of Mixed Threats,” was made in the Metropolitan Building on the territory of the Sofia-Kiev National Reserve.
The Foreign Ministry team presented to Ukrainian foreign partners the basic elements of our country’s public diplomacy strategy, goals, and objectives. A number of projects have been presented based on strategic developments – in the cultural, gastronomic, digital, expert, and scientific-educational fields.
“Enhancing communication capabilities, strengthening diplomats’ competencies and the development orientation of public diplomacy is of utmost importance in terms of new external challenges and the digitalization of the world,” said Jabarova. Despite the continued Russian aggression and occupation of Crimea, we aim to reveal ourselves to the world as a country of extraordinary people, opportunities, dynamics, and unique nature. A country that aspires to membership in the European Union and NATO and is reforming almost all areas of life at a very rapid pace.”
