COVID-19 Updates in Ukraine, 1.460 Million Cases

The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov reported that in Ukraine, 1.460 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, the daily increase over March 13 – more than 9 thousand, much less than the previous day. At the same time, a large number of hospitalized per day – more than 4 thousand.

During the past 24hrs, on March 13, 9,012 new cases of coronavirus disease were detected in Ukraine. 4216 people were hospitalized, 145 patients died.

According to him, 491 children and 193 medical workers fell ill during the day. At the same time, 2,743 people recovered.

On March 13, 60,522 coronavirus tests were performed.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Zhytomyr (923), Dnipropetrovsk (660), Vinnytsia (634), Lviv (590), and Kharkiv (569) oblasts.

In total, 1,460,756 people fell ill during the pandemic in Ukraine. 1,222,516 patients recovered. 28,303 cases were fatal.

Dnipropetrovsk region – 660 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 461 cases;

Kyiv region – 552 cases;

Kirovohrad region – 56 cases;

Luhansk region – 27 cases;

Lviv region – 590 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 344 cases;

Odessa region – 485 cases;

Poltava region – 105 cases;

Rivne region – 155 cases;

Sumy region – 309 cases;

Ternopil region – 365 cases;

Kharkiv region – 569 cases;

Kherson region – 71 cases;

Khmelnytsky region – 533 cases;

Cherkasy region – 142 cases;

Chernivtsi region – 477 cases;

Chernihiv region – 194 cases.
