“6,792 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of March 15, 2021,” Stepanov said.
According to him, 2,497 people with coronavirus were hospitalized yesterday, and 130 Ukrainians died as a result of the disease. 3491 people managed to recover.
On Sunday, 17338 PCR tests were performed, 3236 – ELISA, 7024 – for antigen.
“Over the last day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Zhytomyr (778), Lviv (552), Kyiv (464), Dnipropetrovsk (439), and Vinnytsia (426) regions,” Stepanov said.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 1,467,548 people;
recovered – 1,226,007 people;
fatalities – 28,433;
PCR tests were performed – 7,377,404.
In particular, 326 children and 109 health workers fell ill last day.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 17th in terms of prevalence and 19th in terms of the number of deaths from COVID-19.
