President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a decision to open a new program as part of the Big Construction.

The new program was named “Big restoration”. UAH 2 billion was allocated for its implementation. This was stated by the deputy head of the President’s Office Kirill Tymoshenko during the All-Ukrainian forum “Ukraine 30. Culture. Media. Tourism”.
“This is a program for the restoration and restoration of cultural heritage sites: theaters, castles, museums, fortresses, and so on. A record amount in the history of Ukraine has been allocated for the program – UAH 2 billion,” Tymoshenko said.
According to him, the main goal of the “Great Restoration” is the preservation of cultural heritage.
“We do not restore such facilities so that they stand empty. We are building roads for them, we are putting new management there, so that people come, see and learn more about their own country. This is important in today’s reality, when people, due to a pandemic, cannot do much go abroad, “Tymoshenko said.
According to him, work has already begun at some objects, and their pace will grow.
Within the framework of the Great Restoration project, Ukraine will restore about 150 objects of historical and cultural heritage in the next three years.
