The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet met with the leaders of the junior movement Oleksandr Pedan, Andriy Bolyak, Halyna Kolomoyets, and the director of the Institute for Modernization of the Content of Education Yevhen Bazhenkov.

During the meeting, they talked about the development and introduction of new approaches in conducting physical education lessons in general secondary education.
The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine announced the next plans:
“Promotion of sports, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, as well as physical activity, which is a necessary component for children’s education – the key to a healthy Ukrainian nation!” – summed up Sergey Shkarlet.
signing a Memorandum of Cooperation;
introduction of new variable modules in physical education lessons;
implementation of an innovative educational project “juniors – a physical culture of the future”;
assistance in conducting physical education lessons online within the project “All-Ukrainian School Online”.
It will be recalled that the Ministry of Education and Science, The LEGO Foundation, and the Australian Council for Educational Research are launching a monitoring study of the quality of primary education.
