“It is a difficult but extremely necessary decision of the emergency commission. Why did we decide not to wait for the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers and make such decisions immediately? The dynamics of hospitalization of critically ill patients are not decreasing. We must do everything necessary to prevent the collapse of the city’s medical system. This is the time during which we will be able to arrange additional places in hospitals and clinics. It is also the only way to break the chain of the disease.”
What will change from March 19?
According to the mayor, from March 19, the junior school goes on vacation, senior classes continue distance learning.
All cultural institutions stop working: theaters, cinemas, museums, concert venues. Catering establishments will operate “takeaway” and delivery, hardware stores – for pre-order delivery, beauty salons, and gyms – by individual pre-registration.
There will be grocery stores, pharmacies, and pet stores in the malls. All mass events in the city are postponed.
