In the French department of the Loire, a car knocked down 18 cyclists. One of the victims is in hospital in critical condition.

A group of cyclists crossed the bridge over the highway near the village of Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert. While overtaking the group, the car did not notice the oncoming car, and to avoid a collision, drove over people.
At least 18 people were injured: four adults and 14 teenagers aged 14 to 18.
A 14-year-old boy is currently in critical condition at Saint-Etienne Hospital. The offending driver also needed medical help.
The circumstances of the event are being clarified.
