President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decision to establish a counter-information center” on March 19, and with this signature, the President put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council regarding the creation of a new body to combat propaganda and fraud.

The presidential decree was published on the official website of the President’s office, where the decree comes into effect from the moment it was published when control over the implementation of the decision was assigned to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov.
The establishment of the agency was also approved at a meeting of the Security and National Defense Council.
It should be noted that the idea of establishing the Anti-Disinformation Center was put forward earlier by President Volodymyr Zelensky, where the initiative of the Head of State was supported at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on March 11th.
The agency will operate under the supervision of the National Security Council – in Pankova, Kiev, and representatives of the intelligence community, as well as all relevant ministries and agencies, will participate in the work.
