The Minister of industry and national production Venezuelan Tarek El Aissami announced that the attack took place on the territory of the gas plant of the Venezuelan state oil and gas company PDVSA, located in the city of El Tehro in Monagas.

“We want to inform the national and international community about a new terrorist act against our main oil company, I’m talking about PDVSA,” the minister said.
According to him, the terrorist attack that took place on the section of the gas pipeline in the city of El Tehro affected the operations center, which serves as a gas station.
The official noted that no casualties had been reported yet.
Repair crews arrived at the scene to restore the infrastructure after the attack.
In the second half of January, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro also announced a terrorist attack on a gas pipeline controlled by a state-owned company.
