President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a meeting on January 22, named the priority tasks of the authorities for 2021.
In particular, the president recalled his campaign promises.
“When we went to the elections, we promised to simplify the conditions for doing business, affordable loans, mortgages for young families, and increased material security. Of course, the coronavirus pandemic has made its own adjustments and presented us with new unexpected challenges that required an immediate solution. But we must not forget about our promises and what people expect from us. In the new year, we must continue to move towards the implementation of our program provisions for building a successful country of happy people, ”Zelensky’s press service quotes him as saying.

Zelensky noted among the priority goals – the voting of those bills that will contribute to the implementation of reforms and the harmonization of domestic legislation with European, because Ukraine plans to revise the provisions of the Association Agreement with the EU. Cooperation with international partners has become an important focus.
The government is working to implement the initiative of the Head of State on mortgages for young people at 7%.
Also in the plans – the introduction of personal scholarships for students and special awards.
The first plenary meeting of the Rada in 2021 is expected on January 26.
