Pizza Fest has announced the release of the PalmRide retrofuturistic arcade racing demo. It is available for free on Steam and it is the “whole salt” of the future game. In the demo, they left only one zone, a city, and only one mode – an endless ride.
The history of PalmRide began almost a year ago: a record of a student project made by one of the users appeared on Reddit. The reviews were good and the software student decided to turn it into a full-fledged game. For this, he was joined by a composer and an artist.
PalmRide is slated for release in the second quarter of 2021. The full version will have different maps and race modes. In addition, all player achievements will be recorded in the global leaderboards. However, the idea of the game is quite simple: you need to drive as fast as possible, avoiding obstacles.
