Tennis player from Ukraine Katarina Zavatska started at the ITF W60 tournament in the French city of Andresio-Butyon.
At these representative competitions, our compatriot received the fourth number of crops. She proved her status with a victory in the first round over Julia Gatto-Monticone – 6: 4, 6: 1.
Katarina tied the score in the confrontation with the representative of Italy (2-2). In 2018, the Ukrainian lost to her rivals at the ITF tournament in Grenoble and took revenge in Budapest, and in 2019 Zavatka lost to Gatto Monticone in the final of the Roland Garros qualifiers.
The next rival of the Ukrainian will be the second racket in the world in the junior rankings Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva from Andorra. The 15-year-old tennis player is the current champion of the junior “Australian Open”.
