Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov stated that in Ukraine, 1.216 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been registered, a daily increase of 4,685 on January 29, a decrease compared to the day before. Thus for the third week in a row for days people recover more than fell ill.
“As of January 30, 2021, 4,685 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been registered in Ukraine. In particular, 200 children and 336 medical workers fell ill, ”Stepanov said.
“Also for the past 24hrs: 1,906 people were hospitalized; fatalities – 149; 11,317 people recovered; tests were performed per day – 41,781 (including PCR – 23,871, ELISA – 17,910) “, – added the Minister.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine: 1,216,278 people fell ill; recovered – 1,014,658 people; fatalities – 22,628; PCR tests were performed – 6,232,960.
“Over the past day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk (412), Lviv (353), Kyiv (341), Dnipropetrovsk (335) and Kyiv (325) regions,” the head of the Ministry of Health said.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
Quarantine to counter the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Ukraine was introduced on March 12, 2020. Then it was repeatedly continued and transferred to the form of adaptive quarantine in the summer.
In the last 24 hours, 570,976 new patients have been diagnosed in the world, and 15,716 have died from complications.
According to open data, the United States (25,354,044), India (10,720,048), Brazil (8,996,876), Russia (3,813,048), the United Kingdom (3,743,738), and France (3,079,545) are leading in the number of patients).
