The men’s national teams of Denmark and Sweden have won tickets to the finals of the World Handball Championship, which is taking place in Egypt.
In the opening semifinal, the Swedes dealt with the French team – 32:26. The most productive player of the meeting was Hampus Vanne with 11 goals.
In another confrontation, the reigning world champions Denmark beat the Spaniards 35:33 by two goals. The most productive among the winners was Mikkel Hansen, who has 12 accurate shots.
The final of the World Cup between the teams of Sweden and Denmark will be held on January 31. The Spaniards and the French will play for the third place in the match.
The most titled national team in the world is the French team – six titles. Next are Sweden and Romania, which each have four trophies.
