The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov stated that in Ukraine, 1.219 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, a daily increase of 3,177 on January 30, a decrease compared to the day before. Thus for the third week in a row for days people recover more than fell ill.
” 3,177 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of January 31, 2021. In particular, 146 children and 86 health workers became ill,” the minister wrote.
During the day 1960 people were hospitalized, 79 patients died. 4126 patients recovered. A total of 19,059 tests were performed during the day. The largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk (337), Zakarpattia (217), Kyiv (215), Zhytomyr (205), and Kyiv (193) oblasts.
A total of 1,018,784 people recovered from the coronavirus during the pandemic in Ukraine.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine: 1,219,455 people fell ill; recovered – 1,018,784 people; fatalities – 22,707; PCR tests were performed – 6,248,002.
