You can see that the new generation F-150 Raptor will retain a large radiator grille with the inscription “Ford”, but will change the edge of the grille and the shape of the “honeycomb”. The car should also have new position lights.
On another teaser you can see a slightly redesigned head optics in the style of the standard F-150 2021. The car should get bigger L-shaped running lights.
There was information that under a cowl of “charged” pickup the 3,5-liter turbocharged V6 will settle down, but here its power isn’t revealed yet. The current Raptor produces 450 hp. and 691 Nm of torque, and the role of transmission is performed by a 10-speed automatic transmission.
There is also a possibility that the new Raptor will receive a version with V8. According to unofficial data, it will be a 5.2-liter power plant with an output of more than 700 hp.
The base F-150 of the fourteenth generation will be based on the same frame and with the same aluminum frame of the cabin. The new pickup will receive a redesigned exterior and many modern options, including a hybrid modification. The pickup will be offered with six powertrain options.
At the moment, Ford is creating an electric modification of the F-150. The launch of serial production is scheduled for mid-2022.
