Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – February 02, 2021 – Agriculture
The project “Improvement of Sustainable Agriculture in Ukraine”, which is implemented with the support of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Ukraine and Nestle in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Bern, will be continued in 2021.
“This project is important for the development of agriculture in Ukraine, as well as in the framework of food security, which is currently a key element of public policy in many countries. Ukraine, as the main exporter of agricultural products and food products, supports the implementation of projects that support sustainable agricultural production and develop small and medium-sized producers, “said Taras Vysotsky, Deputy Minister of Economic Development.
Within the framework of the project, farms were selected, on the example of which an experimental (business) model of the advisory will be introduced. Selected FGs will be provided with consulting support for the introduction of the best technologies for growing wheat and mustard for further production of wheat flour and mustard seeds. Their experience will be used to further analyze and improve the advisory model.
