The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, there have already been 1.223 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19, a daily increase, on February 1 – almost 2.4 thousand, an increase over the day before. At the same time, for the fourth week in a row, people are recovering more than they got sick in a day.
“2394 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were registered in Ukraine as of February 2, 2021,” Stepanov said.
Among COVID-19 patients are 117 children and 213 health workers.
Laboratories performed 31,620 studies per day: of which 16,589 by PCR and 15,031 by ELISA. For the whole time in Ukraine 6 million, 274 thousand 464 PCR tests were conducted.
Most new cases were recorded in Kyiv (285), Ivano-Frankivsk (278), Zaporizhia (217), Chernivtsi (159), and Kharkiv (158) oblasts.
So the total numbers in Ukraine Since the beginning of the pandemic:
1,223,879 cases of coronavirus disease. Of these, 1,035,372 patients have already recovered and 22,924 have died from COVID-19 complications.
