The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov stated that in Ukraine, 1.244 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, a daily increase of less than 4,000 on February 6, a decrease compared to the day before. Thus for the fourth week in a row for days people recover more than fell ill. At the same time, the number of hospitalized has reached almost 1.9 thousand in the last 24 hours.
“As of February 7, 2021, 3,370 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been registered in Ukraine. In particular, 188 children and 96 medical workers fell ill, ”the minister wrote.
In the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, and Kyiv.
For the past 24hrs: 1,869 people were hospitalized; fatalities – 81; 2,297 people recovered; tests were performed per day – 19,500 (including PCR – 15,690, ELISA – 3,810).
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
- fell ill – 1,244,849 people;
- recovered – 1,073,046 people;

fatalities – 23,597;
-
PCR tests were performed – 6,391,722.
