In 2020, the number of issued electronic signatures was 7.2 million, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
In 2020, almost 4 billion transactions were carried out in Ukraine using electronic signatures and seals.
In 2019, the number of operations using an electronic signature and printing was over 1.5 Bln.
“Improving the quality of the provision of qualified electronic trust services, the level of trust in them, and popularization by the central certifying body is one of the priority tasks of the Ministry,” said Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Lyudmila Rabchinskaya.
Last year, the number of issued e-signatures was 7.2 million, which is 69% more than in 2019 (4.3 million).
In 2020, 11% of all signatures were stored on secure media. Compared to 2019, their number increased by 3%, which means that Ukrainians have begun to take a more responsible attitude towards storing their data, the Ministry of Digital Science emphasized.
Qualified representatives of electronic fiduciary services are private and public enterprises, banks, and other organizations that issue electronic signatures, seals, and forms when they are overlaid with a time stamp.
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the number of suppliers that use international signature algorithms has grown: in 2019 there were 3 out of 22, and last year – 6 out of 20.
