The Jeep brand has launched a special site called The Road Ahead, which presents the most advanced models that have already gone on sale or will appear soon. Among them is the future electric Jeep Wrangler.
The Road Ahead offers a look into the near future of the Jeep brand – new technologies, new car models, and new business lines. On the site, you can get acquainted with the new Grand Cherokee, Wagoneer, and hybrid Wrangler 4xe, as well as learn about the company’s autopilot system, advanced multimedia capabilities of Jeep cars, and their driver assistance systems.
Transforming Jeep Wrangler Into an Electric Car in March!
As for the electric Jeep Wrangler, on the site you can see a mini-video, or rather a gif-image showing the batteries under the “skin” of the SUV and the only electric motor located in front. It also seems that there is a fairly standard transmission and transfer case.
The presentation of the electric Jeep Wrangler is scheduled to take place during the annual Easter Jeep Safari in the Moab Desert, which runs from March 27 to April 4.
