The acclaimed HBO series “One of Us” based on the game The Last Of Us will feature the stars of the popular movie “Game of Thrones” Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.
So, Pascal will appear in the role of the main character Joel, and Ramsey – 14-year-old girl Ellie. It is reported by the Variety edition.
Note that The Last of Us game is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which civilization was destroyed by a pandemic. The main character, Joel, is hired to take Ellie out of the quarantine zone.
The series will be filmed by the creator of the popular film “Dylda” Kantemir Balagov and the director of the film “Chernobyl” Craig Mazin. The film is planned to be shown in the timeslot, where “Game of Thrones” was shown.
Recall, The Last of Us is a popular computer game developed by Naughty Dog in 2013. In the first three days after the release, it sold about four million copies, and the cumulative sales exceeded 17 million.
Pedro Pascal is a Chilean-American actor. In April 2014, he appeared in the television series Game of Thrones as Prince Oberyn Martell, which brought him worldwide fame.
Bella Ramsey is a British actress. BAFTA children’s award winner. Best known for her role as Lyanna Mormont in the television series Game of Thrones.
