This is one of the favorite dishes of many, but not everyone knows how to cook potato pancakes quickly and deliciously. That’s why today we share this wonderful recipe, according to which potato pancakes turn out tender and golden.
Ingredients:
potatoes – 1 kg
eggs – 3 pcs.
onion – 3 pcs.
flour – 2 tbsp. spoons
garlic – 2 cloves
frying oil
ground black pepper
salt
Preparation:
Wash the potatoes well, peel, and grate on a fine grater. Also, peel the onion and grate too. Rub onions and potatoes alternately – this life hack will not allow the potatoes to darken prematurely. Grated vegetables form a lot of juice, so either throw them on a sieve to let the juice drain a little, or squeeze with your hands.
Add the garlic squeezed through a garlic press to the potatoes and onions. You can skip this step if you don’t like it.
Add eggs, flour, and spices to the mixture. Mix everything well.
Heat a frying pan, pour oil on it, reduce the heat and start spreading your potato pancakes. To do this, scoop the potato mixture with a spoon and place it on the pan, forming a round pancake. When they turn golden, turn over. Fry the rest of the potato mixture like this.
Serve potato pancakes warm and with sour cream.
