The European Investment Bank announced that it is ready to allocate 700 million euros to Ukraine for the development of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises. This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Schmigal during the government’s response to the questions of the Ukrainian Parliament held today, February 19.
“The bank has shown its willingness to allocate 700 million euros for credit assistance, and in fact these loans are at a zero rate, at an interest rate of 0.12% annually, to support small and medium enterprises in Ukraine,” said Schmigal.
He added that the Ministry of Finance will work to obtain appropriate funds from the European Investment Bank and focus on business support.
