The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, more than 1.304 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been registered, the daily increase for February 20 – 4,489 thousand, a decrease compared to the day before. For the fourth day in a row, fewer recovered than sick. Hospitalizations per day – more than 2 thousand, 5 days in a row.
“4,489 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been registered in Ukraine as of February 21, 2021. In particular, 323 children and 133 medical workers fell ill, ”the statement reads.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk (618), Vinnytsia (482), Zhytomyr (365), Chernivtsi (320), and Zakarpattia (281) oblasts.
Also on February 20, 58 people died, 1,557 recovered. In total, 1,304,456 people became ill during the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,146,073 recovered, and 25,103 patients died.
