The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on urgent measures to nationalize part of the western Samara oil pipeline.
The document states: “Implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine issued on February 19, 2021“ regarding taking measures to protect the interests of state property”.
On February 19, 2021, the National Security and Defense Council decided to impose sanctions on the head of the political council of the opposition platform – the Life Party, Viktor Medvedchuk, and his wife, Oksana Marchenko.
So the National Security and Defense Council decided on 19 legal entities and 8 individuals who were sanctioned by presidential decree.
On the same day, February 19, the National Security and Defense Council decided to take urgent measures to return state property, which are parts of the oil pipelines towards Western Samarra, with a total length of 1,433 kilometers, passing through Ukraine.
Law enforcement agencies were tasked with knowing the conditions in which state property found itself in the hands of the private sector.
