The Military Medical Service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has received a shipment of armored medical vehicles, which will be delivered to command positions in eastern Ukraine.

The light armored medical vehicles donated by the Republic of Latvia to the Ukrainian Armed Forces were delivered to Ukraine on Wednesday, 24 February. The ceremony for the plane meeting was held with the help of Latvian partners at the military airport.
The plane was received by Ukrainian Defense Minister Andrey Taran, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine, Joris Boykans, and Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Roman Mashovets.
In this regard, the Minister of Defense said, “Today we have an interesting event – thanks to the support of partners, we are greatly enhancing the capabilities of our military medical services.”
Taran indicated that this “invaluable gift” from Latvian partners will be used to reinforce units that participate on the front lines.
