COVID-19 in Ukraine, Statistics and Cases

The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, more than 1.401 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded, the daily increase for March 6 – more than 7 thousand, which is less than the second day. The number of hospitalized per day – more than 3.9 thousand.

“As of March 7, 2021, 7,167 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been registered in Ukraine. In particular, 466 children and 172 medical workers fell ill, ”Maksym Stepanov wrote.

Also for the past day:

3,956 people were hospitalized;

fatalities – 103;

2,147 people recovered;

performed tests per day – 46,304 (including PCR – 24,868, ELISA – 3,927, studies by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 17,509).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine, 1,401,228 people became ill; 1,196,520 people recovered. 27,022 patients died.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Zhytomyr (747), Lviv (601), Vinnytsia (587), Ivano-Frankivsk (543), and Zakarpattia (503) oblasts.
