During 2020, 21 investment projects worth about UAH 800 million were implemented in the industrial sector of the economy, creating 168 new jobs. These projects have brought great benefits to the city of Vinnytsia

Volodymyr Merezhko, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, reporting on the implementation of the Vinnytsia Region Economic and Social Development Program for 2020, reminded that one of such projects was the opening of Daxa Bunge Ukraine plant in Demkivske village, Trostyanets village settlement Gaisinsky district.
The plant will process hard corn into flour and cereals, and its capacity is planned at 300 tons per day. About 50 jobs will be created at the enterprise, now 20 people are already employed at the plant. The investment amounts to $ 14 million, and the main shareholders are the Spanish group of companies Daxa and the American group of companies Bunge.
According to the press service of the Department, in 2020, 9 projects worth UAH 576.30 million were implemented in the food and processing industries. Thanks to investment projects in this area, 116 jobs were created. Also, 9 projects worth UAH 185 million have been implemented in the field of alternative energy. 42 new jobs have been created here. 3 projects worth UAH 32.42 million, thanks to which 10 new jobs were created and implemented in other industries.
In 2021-2023, private investors in industry plan to implement 47 investment projects totaling about UAH 7 billion, which is 2115 new jobs, including by industry:
– food and processing – 12 projects worth about UAH 1.0 billion, 253 jobs;
– alternative energy – 22 projects worth about UAH 4 billion, 437 jobs;
– mechanical engineering – 2 projects worth UAH 267.5 million, 860 jobs;
– extractive industry – 1 project worth UAH 0.2 million, 5 jobs;
– others – 10 projects worth UAH 1.7 billion, 560 jobs.
It is reported that there is a comprehensive plan to increase productive projects in the city.
