The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, 1.477 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded, the daily increase for March 15 – 9.6 thousand, an increase over the previous day. At the same time, the number of hospitalized per day reaches 2,000, less than the day before.

“9,642 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of March 16, 2021,” Stepanov said.
Among the new patients – 474 children and 313 nurses.
On March 15, 2005 people were hospitalized with coronavirus, and 264 deaths were recorded. 6202 patients managed to recover. During the day, 76,509 tests were performed (38,738 – PCR, 18,275 – ELISA and 1,986 – for antigen).
During the entire pandemic, 1 million 477 thousand 190 people became ill with the coronavirus in Ukraine, 1 million 232 thousand 209 recovered. 28697 deaths.
“Over the last day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Lviv (1065), Kyiv (999), Vinnytsia (924), Odessa (728), and Kharkiv (596) regions,” Stepanov said.
