The Director-General, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghazzawi, said that the Jordanian treatment (virix) is the first of its kind in the world for the treatment of corona, as it is given orally in the form of pills.
Al-Ghazawi stated that the anti-corona virus (virix) is completely Jordanian, as the company began manufacturing it in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic in Jordan. Al-Ghazzawi added that the drug has proven successful by more than 81%, and in some trials, more than 91%.
He pointed out that there are a large number of countries that have included the drug in their treatment protocol to eliminate the virus, including Jordan, the Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Japan, China, and Russia. Dr. Al-Ghazzawi showed the method of administering the drug, with a total of 100 tablets, for a period of 14 days.
