Due to the introduction of strict quarantine restrictions in Kiev on March 20, the 18th Duke Days of Ukraine International Human Rights Festival will be held online from March 26 to April 4.

This is according to a statement issued by the State Film Agency.
He said in a statement, “The main venue for the festival will be the online cinema, the Docu space, where you can join the festival’s discussions and workshops, as well as watch more than 80 competition films and non-competition programs for the festival.”
The festival will maintain all the competitive film programs: Daku / Ukraine, Daku International, and Dako Kassir, where one of the ten films nominated will be awarded the “Rights Now!” Award.
It will be presented as an innovative documentary that explores the modern world and makes a major contribution to the discussion of human dignity, freedom, and equality.
The festival will be supported by the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, and the Ukrainian State Agency for Cinematography.
The government agency indicated that the Docu Space platform will host: film screenings of competitive and non-competitive programs, in addition to Anatoly Surma’s animated films. Public Online Broadcast of Human Rights Discussions for Well Now! Classical, lectures and meetings of Decio, discussions with festival film directors, as well as discussions with Docio plastic artists; An online exhibition entitled “Hello, No Entry” and an online part of the “Old Communications” exhibition within the Docu Plastic Program; Where the opening and closing ceremony of the festival will be broadcast.
It is reported that part of the festival’s activities will be held on the basis of the Zoom platform: exclusive events for industrial credit holders; Communicate in the “living library”; Online documentary studio, where kids will create their own documentaries.
