In Ukraine, with the beginning of Lent, the demand for mushrooms has grown significantly. At the same time, prices jumped up.

In Ukraine, in February, the price of white mushrooms from the farm ranged from 25-28 UAH / kg, but given that the supply from producers was limited, the price increased by the beginning of the post by 40-60%. Today the average price in Ukraine is 38-40 UAH.
Market players note that at the moment there are enough mushrooms in Ukraine, but there are requests in the market that are difficult to close (in terms of volume or quality) and therefore mushroom growers manage to keep the price at a fairly high level compared to the previous period.
