Famous Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has suffered another defeat in court in a case of defamation against the publication of The Sun.

It became known that the court rejected the request to appeal the court decision, which called Depp “a man who beats his wife.”
As Depp was barred from appealing the verdict after his loss in court, his lawyers appealed to the Court of Appeal to order a retrial. In the submitted documents, Depp stressed that the decision was “absolutely wrong” and “clearly dangerous.”
However, according to Deadline, the UK Court of Appeals denied actor Johnny Depp a retaliation against the tabloid. Johnny Depp’s lawyer noted that Amber Heard’s failure to fulfill its obligations to charities could significantly affect the course of the case. However, the court stated that the questions concerning how much money she had donated had nothing to do with the proceedings between the spouses.
It will be recalled that in early November, the court ruled that an article published in 2018 in The Sun, in which Depp was called a domestic tyrant, sided with Amber Heard, was true and the actor really raised his hand to his ex-wife during their relationship.
