Mackerel with orange and ginger is a great find for those who love this fish. Cooked in this way mackerel is spicy, fragrant and just melts in your mouth.
Preparation time – 10 minutes
Cooking time – 15 minutes
Ingredients:
mackerel – 1 pc.
orange – 1/2 pc.
ginger root – 10 g
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Mackerel must be thawed, remove the gills and entrails.
Peel an orange, grate it and squeeze the juice. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.
Grate the mackerel with salt, pepper, orange peel, and grated ginger, place in a flat container and fill with orange juice. Leave for 10 minutes.
Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake for 15 minutes. Serve with boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes.
