The newly-appointed head of the Cherkasy region Oleksandr Skichko was introduced today, February 2.
On January 20 Skichko’s candidacy for the position of the chairman of the Cherkassk regional public administration was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. According to the press service of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, the Head of State met with the newly appointed head of the Regional State Administration and handed him an ID card.
“It is a great responsibility and a serious challenge, because I was born here and the most pleasant childhood memories are connected with this region. I aim to consolidate and unite all people of goodwill. We have direct contact with the president’s office and believe me, this is our great advantage, “Skichko said.
According to Skichko, in the coming days, he will talk to the heads of all departments to understand these problems in the region.
