According to doctors, if smoking was long, perennial, then the body of the smoker for years accumulated toxins. From the body of a person who “tied” with cigarettes, they are not removed immediately, but only after 6-8 months. To speed up the process of freeing cells from nicotine, experts recommend introducing into your daily diet foods that accelerate its excretion.
Citrus. Vitamin C, the source of which is this fruit, promotes intensive metabolism and improves blood flow. As a result, the blood and lung tissue are cleared faster of those harmful components that have accumulated in the body all the time that a person smoked.
Kiwi. These fruits also contain a lot of vitamin C, and in addition to it there is also magnesium, under the influence of which smokers improve their breathing process and cough.

It turned out that people who quit smoking but ate a lot of tomatoes and fruits, especially apples, showed a slower deterioration in lung function. As a result, researchers said that the substances of apples and tomatoes help to eliminate the damage caused by cigarettes – and a similar effect was observed only in those who “tied” with tobacco.
