Microsoft has released a major update to Skype 8.68 for PC and mobile devices.
For Android users, the most noticeable innovation is the long-awaited background blur feature during a video call, which has long been available in many other services and, moreover, other versions of Skype.
For iOS, the developers have improved the share function, added a dark theme, and increased productivity.
In Skype 8.68, users will be able to add more types of reactions. This feature is available for all major platforms including Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, iPadOS, and PC.
Also, virtual cameras started working on macOS again, and a bug with missing sound in voice messages was also fixed.
