Japanese oil refinery company Idemitsu Kosan is working with racing car manufacturer Tajima Motor to develop a small electric vehicle.
The estimated price of this model is estimated at 14 thousand US dollars. The electric car model embodies Idemitsu’s efforts to diversify its business as society seeks to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
“Our company will continue to enhance its corporate mission to ensure stable energy resources, as well as explore new areas for its future business,” said CEO Keto Sunetti.
It is noteworthy that Idemitsu is seeking to continue developing its electric vehicle business, and the demand for gasoline is expected to decrease in the future.
