On the sidelines of the IDEX 2021 events, Airbus and Atlas Communications, one of the companies specializing in the field of integrated communications technology and security solutions, signed a strategic partnership agreement to combine the local and global expertise of the two companies, and to promote levels of cooperation between public safety agencies in Abu Dhabi.

This collaboration integrates Tactilon Agent, Everes Manpack, and Tactilon Dabat solutions from Airbus, and Atlas innovative communications solutions in defense and security applications.
Tactilon Agent combines features for users of radio stations and smart devices, enabling the immediate sharing of voice, data, video clips, and location information. With Tactilon Agent, the Evers Man Pack Portable LTE Tactical Bag enables voice and video services and gives users a direct connection to the operating theater headquarters.
Thanks to its hybrid roaming feature, the Tactilon Dabat from Airbus provides users with the ability to switch between TETRA or LTE networks, depending on availability.
Under the agreement, Airbus will provide the TETRA-powered TW1m modem, which will enhance the capabilities of Atlas Communications’ e-Passport, an advanced, intelligent, and compact ship tracking device.
