According to Ukrhydromettsentr, on March 2 it will be cloudy with clearings, no significant precipitations, only in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions light rain with wet snow in the afternoon.
On the roads, except for the south and east, there is ice in some places.
The wind is mainly north-western, 7-12 m / s, with gusts of 15-20 m / s in places in the western, eastern, and south-eastern regions.
The temperature at night from 2 ° heat to 3 ° frost, in the east to 6 ° frost; daytime 2-7 ° heat, in the western regions 6-11 °, in Prykarpattia up to 15 ° heat; in the Carpathians 3-8 ° C at night, 0-5 ° C in the daytime.
The situation on the roads:
On the morning of March 2, no precipitation throughout the country. “The coverage on most state roads is mostly wet,” the road workers said.
On the pass sections of roads, as noted, also without precipitation. The road surface is wet, in Transcarpathia it is dry.
On roads of the state, important works on the processing of a covering of roads by anti-ice materials and drainage are carried out. Work continues on cleaning public transport stops, entry pockets, and roadsides from the snow.
“Travel on state roads is provided,” the road workers assured.
To ensure the passage of roads of state importance, road organizations involved 58 units of equipment and 98 workers.
