The adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Valeriy Potseluyko stated that it is possible that the Kremlin will respond to the recent decision of the NSDC on the introduction of new sanctions, up to and including the initiation of a full-scale war. According to Kissuiko, the Kremlin will in any case respond to the recent actions of the authorities, since they cannot do otherwise.
“This can be both an aggravation of actions in the Donbass, and the introduction of new economic sanctions against our country,” explained Pitseluyko.
In addition, he admits that with the arrival of real spring, when the weather improves, the occupiers will become even more active.
According to him, if the enemy decides to conduct a full offensive against Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other departments are ready for such a development of events and assure that it will be devastating for the enemy.
At the same time, Potseluyko denied the assumption that Russia could attract aviation to the Donbass. He believes that Russia will not take such a step, as he constantly insists that “they are not there.” After all, the use of aviation would immediately confirm the fact that Russia is an accomplice of the militants.
“But even if we assume that things will come to such an aggravation, Ukraine will be able to fight back with the help of its aviation,” the adviser is sure.
Kissuiko also noted that Ukraine also has support from the West, so the invaders will receive a worthy response.
Regarding the strategy for the de-occupation of Donbass, the official noted that many people know about its existence. At this stage, everything is ready for its implementation, but this requires an order from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to him, in order to start implementing the Strategy, an appropriate decision must be made by the President and the Verkhovna Rada.
However, he categorically rejected the likelihood of cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the “people’s militia of the LDNR”.
In turn, the pro-Russian authorities of the self-proclaimed “republics” “DPR” and “LPR” decided to legitimize the “preemptive” shelling of Ukrainian positions.
At the same time, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Leonid Kravchuk believes that the aggravation of the situation in Donbass is associated with sanctions against the godfather of the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, Viktor Medvedchuk.
At the same time, the first president stressed that it is impossible to consider the aggravation in Donbass as direct revenge of Russia for the sanctions against Medvedchuk.
And the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that US military assistance leads to the strengthening of the combat capability of the Ukrainian army, and this, in turn, could provoke an escalation of the armed conflict in Donbass.
Meanwhile, the co-founder of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, Yuriy Romanenko, explained why Russia may soon try to “squeeze the squeeze on the topic of” Novorossiya ” and annex more of the territory of Ukraine.
The analyst recalled how during the protests at the end of 2013, Russian operatives launched the process of the annexation of Crimea. Yuriy Romanenko believes that today something similar can be continued in other Ukrainian regions.
