The Latest News of COVID-19 in Ukraine

The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, 1.535 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, the daily increase for March 19 – 15.2 thousand, which is less than yesterday. At the same time, the number of hospitalized per day, as the day before, more than 4 thousand.

As of the morning of March 20, 15,292 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine. In particular, 797 – for children and 367 – for doctors.

Over the past 24hrs, 4,369 people were hospitalized with complications, while 3,374 were discharged. 260 patients, unfortunately, died on Friday; 5190 managed to recover.

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine, 1,535,218 people fell ill, 1,253,972 of them recovered, and 29,775 died.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (1070), Lviv (1180), Dnipropetrovsk (1104), Zhytomyr (1082), and Odesa (1037) oblasts.

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 410 cases;

Kyiv region – 1,036 cases;

Kirovohrad region – 137 cases;

Luhansk region – 115 cases;

Lviv region – 1,180 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 408 cases;

Odessa region – 1,037 cases;

Poltava region – 400 cases;

Rivne region – 432 attacks;

Sumy region – 564 cases;

Ternopil region – 598 cases;

Kharkiv region – 754 cases;

Kherson region – 90 cases;
